My 1999 did the same thing and the sensor is in an impossible spot to fix on the bottom of motor above the transmission. I was told that if the vehicle isn't acting up don't fix it. Somewhat of a dummy light. Monday, December 7th, 2020 AT 9:14 AM (Merged) SAM WELLS

It's in a horrible spot and it's a common Dumby check engine readout. If the car runs good don't replace it Monday, December 7th, 2020 AT 9:15 AM (Merged) MADLPN
Noises problem My 99 jeep grand cherokee dies if it goes below 1000 rpms and if it goes above 2000 rpm it constantly jerks. Also the oil pressure gauge is not working properly at times it will fluctuate between 20-40 but most times it stays near 0. My ex husband just recently replaced both the ignition coil and the crank shaft sensor unit in the last 3 months. A mechanic friend told me to get in the jeep and turn the ignition key on then off and then on and off and then on and watch for anything to pop up such as the check engine light flashing and count the flashes I did try this but what I got from the dash controls was where the mileage is this appeared "P 0352 P 1391 done" done this mean anything and what is the best thing to do. Also today the trans over temp light came on and the overdrive off light came on. Once I turned the vehicle off for a while and restarted it this went off. Monday, December 7th, 2020 AT 9:31 AM (Merged) P0352 is for the coil being faulty and the P1391 is for the cam and crank sensors being faulty but befor you change them change the spark plugs and wires cap and rotor then try it if it still has probblem then you are looking at changing the sensors and coil Monday, December 7th, 2020 AT 9:31 AM (Merged) What are the symptoms of a failing crank sensor?5 Signs of a Failing Crank Sensor.
