WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Incumbents prevailed in Tuesday's six-way primary election for school board. Wisconsin Rapids School Board incumbents Mary Rayome and Troy Bier secured the top two spots in Tuesday's primary, according to unofficial election results. Challengers Julie DesJarlais and Mike Derrie finished third and fourth to advance to the April general election. Two seats are on the ballot this spring. Adam Stublaski and Christopher Inda were eliminated Tuesday, as only the top four vote-getters advance to the April election. Rayome secured a quarter of the vote in Tuesday's election, and Bier maintained a 258 vote lead over newcomer DesJarlais. Derrie came in over 400 votes behind DesJarlais.
