Is it worth getting a pedestal for washer and dryer?

The short answer is no, pedestals are not a necessary add-on when buying a washer but they can be extremely useful in making your machine more accessible.

Are pedestals necessary for front loaders?

You do not need a pedastal. Your washer can sit right on the floor, however, if you had a pedestal, you can store items in it and it makes washing and drying a lot easlier by not having to bend over.

Are all Whirlpool pedestals the same?

A: Dear Customer: Although the older pedestals will fit the new Whirlpool front load washers (and visa versa), the older pedestals' visual design and colors will not match the newer washers.

Do washers on pedestals shake more?

This problem is even worse if it is on a pedestal. It is not that the pedestals are unstable; it is just that it puts the washer up higher, which gives it more of a wobble. It is like stacking blocks the higher they get the less stable they are.
