Parents at a Riverside HS claim the Edgar haircut, created by a PR barber & worn with pride by Latino boys over Edgar Martinez being 5th Caribbean inducted to Baseball Hall of Fame, is antagonistic & detrimental to education. Call me crazy, I don’t think the cut’s the problem🙄

The main reason I retired from teaching was the behavior of too many parents. A parent demanded I be fired after saying there is more than one translation of the Christian Bible. That was the last straw.

I have started cutting my two sons' hair on my own during the pandemic. They are half Hispanic. The haircuts I give them come out looking a lot like this. I think they look handsome & I don't know how to do any other styles, except to shave them bald. This is a stupid non-issue.
