That is partly because the helmet replicates the opening and closing sequence just as it is shown to do in the movie. While many Iron Man helmet replicas simply have a single component that goes up and down for “opening” and “closing” respectively, this one does it with a string of components realigning to open or close the mask.

Another big difference, this Iron Man replica helmet comes with its own version of Jarvis, the AI assistant guiding Tony Stark’s every move in the movie. Though it demonstrates pretty basic voice instructions in the video, it does so with quite a panache.

Upon restarting the system, the eyes on the helmet light up as Jarvis introduces itself. Any movement in terms of opening or closing the mask is followed by a mechanical sound quite like the one heard in the movie.

The video is a real example of how people are still pursuing the idea of a real-life Iron Man suit. Well, it might not be easy but it is not quite impossible. The one big hurdle to make it a reality though, is how the suit will be powered in real-life. After all, none of us are living with an arc-reactor in our chests in place of a heart.
