I used to have the "Plus" size iPhone (same size as the current "Max") but switched to the smaller 11, then to the 12 which has the same size display as the 11 but an even smaller body. I also got a much slimmer case for it by Spigen. So now my phone fits into my (front) pants pocket, which hadn't been the case since the days of the iPhone 6. Of course with that phone you were advised not to put it on the back pocket, for fear of bending the phone if you sat down "wrong." Lol. I’ve never seen anyone actually sit on their phone. I carry mine in my back pocket when not at work but I take it out before sitting down. I also wear carhartt work pants alot and they have a slot pocket for my cellphone. These types of pants are a convenient way to carry a cellphone.
