When you are at a stop with the foot off the clutch and the car is in neutral the car turns off IF the car is warm, battery has enough charge and the ac or heat are off or on low. Show The car starts when you push the clutch back in, turn the steering wheel, if you let the car roll (on a hill), you crank the ac/heat or if it has been off too long. I actually have gotten used to it and don’t really mind. The only time it would bother me is if I was trying to get ahead after a light or launch the car just for fun. Either way I’d probably be in sport mode which disables it. Another model or year may be shown. The Honda idle-stop feature maximizes your fuel efficiency when your vehicle is idling. If you're stationary for more than two seconds, such as in stop-and-go traffic, the engine will shut off; many of the vehicle's functions, such as the A/C, will continue to power on smoothly. Merely release the brake to start up the engine again! This feature can be easily disabled. Another model or year may be shown.
