2001 chevy tahoe on 26 inch rims

Hello I have a 01 Tahoe and was thinking about getting some 26 inch U2-55 rims.
1. Because they are 26inch would I need a lift for them not to rub?

Also what are some CONS for having 26inch rims?

26s usually mean pretty small side walled tires. Pretty stiff ride. Heavy wheels means. Ore wear and tear than normal on suspension parts.

Upgrade your brakes for the sake of people in front of you. You may need a leveling kit.

What makes you think they'll rub? Are they wide?
Stock tires are 31s I think.
28s or 30s I would worry about.
But yea bigbeardenali named all the cons.

On 22 I’m just gonna but my teachers u2-55 24 inch

I just seen ur virgin build and I gotta say you are philthy (bad-ass) but what did you use to paint the bumpers with the chrome on it???

Thanks, it takes years of practice to be this philthy lol. Sadly i just used plastidip. And atm it's all peeled off and back to chrome. The rear bumper was chrome but is now a plastic cover with real paint and clear.
