This annual community celebration would not be possible without the support of sponsors. The simple truth is that ticket sales do not come even close to covering the event costs. So please join the Ventura Rotary Club in thanking the organizations and businesses shown above for their critical support!

We also deeply appreciate the in-kind support of KVTA Gold Coast Broadcasting, EJ Harrison, FastSigns of Ventura, and Hilford Moving & Storage.

Special thanks go to our site hosts, the fantastic team at Ventura College!

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What are my parking options at the event?

A: Parking in all Ventura College lots will be free during the event. There is limited street parking in the area, please use the available College lots. Handicap parking is available in the West and South lots, with additional handicap overflow in Lot V. See parking map below or DOWNLOADABLE PARKING MAP HERE

Q: What can/can't I bring to the event?

A: You can bring a picnic, including food, coolers, drinks (in plastic or aluminum), blankets and soft folding chairs. Small umbrellas are allowed, however pop-ups and large umbrellas are not allowed. You can bring your dancing shoes and positive attitude. Food trucks will be available. BBQs and stoves of any kind are NOT allowed.
NO glass. NO alcohol. NO pets. NO smoking.
And do we even need to say it? NO drugs or smoking of any kind. NO weapons of any kind. NO fireworks. (In fact, all fireworks are illegal to possess in the City of Ventura -- but don't worry, we got special permits!)

Q: Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?

A: You can reach us via the "Contact us" form below or drop a private message on our Facebook page, www.Facebook.com/VenturaFireworks

Q: Do I have to print my online ticket at home and bring to the event?

A: You may either bring your printed ticket or (save paper and ink) and have the ticket's barcode displayed on your mobile phone for scanning at the gate.

Q: Why do you charge an entry fee for this event?

A: This event is not funded by the City or the College, though they are both gracious and invaluable partners in working with us. It is put on by a 100% volunteer staff spearheaded by the Rotary Club of Ventura. Tickets sales do NOT cover the hard costs of putting on the event (a first-rate fireworks show isn't cheap!) So the event is only made possible by YOU, the paying attendee, and by the support of sponsors. Any net proceeds from the event go directly back into the community in the form of local Rotary programs and Rotary's support for many charitable and community organizations. For example, prior years' fireworks shows helped support Ventura's Coats for Kids project, the Dictionary Project for every 3rd grader in Ventura, Perspectives on Peace College Scholarships, the Boys & Girls Club, and local food pantries among others. Please understand that your ticket purchase not only makes the event possible, it also supports your community through the programs and charitable giving of The Rotary Club of Ventura. Thank you!

Q: Is my registration/ticket transferable?

A: Yes, your ticket is good for admission for the holder of the ticket. IDs/names are not checked. Also, the "Family 4 Pack" is good for four (4) admissions (any age) however all persons must enter the gate together. For example, if you arrive at the gate with a "Family 4 Pack" ticket, 4 persons may enter together at that time. Children ages 3 and under are FREE. There is NO re-admittance after exiting the event (NO in-out privileges.)

Q: What is the refund policy?

A: There are no refunds. All ticket sales are final.

Is there an Old Town Ventura?

Ventura's Historic Downtown Cultural District is permeated by early California history. Historic homes, museums, boutiques, Mission San Buenaventura, antique shops and restaurants adorn our palm tree-lined streets. Things are also continually changing in this historic district.
