Trailer tow group iv jeep grand cherokee

I purchased a 2014 5.7L V-8 Limited with the factory installed group IV tow package. Sounds good. One of the items listed as being included with the towing package is heavy duty engine cooling. Could anyone tell me what that is? Does this tow package include a transmission fluid cooler, larger radiator, or engine oil cooling unit? Thank you!:lol:

If you look in the owner's manual, I believe it shows larger cooling capacity for the coolant fill.

The radiator fan and cooling strategy are also different. Standard cooling has a simple two-speed fan...the HD cooling option has a higher-capacity fan that has variable speed controlled via PWM.

The previous posts on this thread are somewhat old. Can someone post an updated feature list for the Grand Cherokee trailer tow group IV package?

I don't think much has changed - the build option on Jeep.com lists:

• 7-and 4-Pin Wiring Harness
  Class IV Receiver-Hitch
  Full-Size Spare Tire
  Heavy-Duty Engine Cooling

  Normal Duty Suspension
  Rear Load-Leveling Suspension
  Steel Spare Wheel

The contents also vary with trim/suspension type and engine choice.

My 2020 trailhawk came with a 180 amp alternator, everything else the same

Yes. Those are the towing limits for the Trailhawk or any other V6 equipped post MY14 "WK2" JGC that has factory towing, either standard like the Trailhawk or optional where available.
