Includes the following services:   

    -Residential services

    -Psychosocial rehabilitation 

    -Employment services (assistance and support)

    -Minor home modifications

    -Home-delivered meals

    -Adaptive aids

    -Transportation services (non-duplicative of state plan medical transportation)

    -Community psychiatric supports and treatment 

    -Peer support

    -Respite care (short term) 

    -Substance use disorder services

    -Nursing

    -Recovery management

The mission of HHSC is to maintain and improve the health and human services system in Texas and to administer its programs in accordance with the highest standards of customer service and accountability for the effective use of funds.

What does the Texas Health and Human Services Commission do?
