I have had my account with Southern Chautauqua Federal Credit Union for 7 years now. I have had amazing experiences with this company. When I needed a personal loan to get my used car they were there to help. I wasn't able to get a loan from anywhere else. This company has the home town feel and the compassion to help out the people who might not deserve it but they take a chance on you anyways. I still have my car and I am happy because they gave me the chance to build credit while getting my car. I would tell everyone to give this credit union a chance to see how they can help you.

I opened my account with Souther Chautauqua Federal Credit Union about 3 years ago and have never had a problem. The staff is always super friendly and more than willing to help with any questions I may have. I opened a checking and savings account with them and use both often because they make it so easy. I have my check from work directly deposited into my checking account as well as many of my bills automatically paid out of my account. It save me tons of time and hassle by doing it for me. The rates are very competitive and they have many different options on accounts that they offer. I will definitely continue banking with them for years to come!

I have a car loan through SCFCU. I love the people at the local branch. They make everything as easy as possible for me. They're always so friendly too! I've had my loan for about two years and for the most part everything goes smoothly. I, or my wife, go in and make my payment each month. Last year however both my wife and I became suddenly unemployed about a month apart from each other. We went from two full time jobs, and incomes, to basically no income at all. We were frightened about what that would mean for our car payment. I spoke to someone at the local branch and they suggested to defer a payment. For a small fee I could tack this months payment on to the end of my loan. It worked out perfectly. We signed the papers and everything worked out very harmoniously. We were so grateful to SCFCU and will continue to work with them if we need another loan in the future.

I love Southern Chautauqua Federal Credit Union! I was first introduced to them through my Personal Finance class at JCC. The owner came in to speak to our class personally about budgets and checking/savings accounts, as well as loans. It also happened that they were opening a branch on our campus. It had opened earlier that week though I had no idea it existed. I had never had a bank account before and was very impressed with man who came to speak to our class. I went over after my classes were finished for the day and opened up a free checking and savings account. I loved it! I was able to run over to the branch on campus between classes if I knew I would need cash for later or if I had an issue or a question. The staff is amazingly helpful and caring. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a credit union!
