During off season, enjoy the beach with our complimentary portable beach chairs and umbrella. Destin West Beach and Bay Resort spans from Choctawhatchee Bay to the Gulf of Mexico. There is a covered elevated walkway across highway 98 that connects the two sides of the resort. You have access to many excellent amenities including the 700 sq. ft. Lazy River (Not heated during winter), waterfall pool (heated in the winter), gradual incline pool for the little ones, 5,000 sq. ft pool, a 1/2 covered pool, kids pool, and whirl pool spa, spray park and a state of the art work out facility. You can spend your days fishing in the bay, floating on the lazy river that winds its way through lush landscaping, enjoy the seven pools of the resort or swim in the emerald-green waters of the gulf of Mexico. The resort also provides picnic tables and charcoal grills. Enjoy the white sand beaches and Emerald Waters of Gulf of Mexico on the resort's private beach area. Beach service (commercial grade two beach chairs and an umbrella) is included March 1st through October 31st. Okaloosa Boardwalk is directly across the street with shops, restaurants, and entertainment. For our guests who would like to rent a boat, or dock their boats, Island Watersports Company is right next door. Inside the unit, the master bedroom features a king size bed and a master bathroom, the bunk room has a twin set of bunk beds with a private bath and a door for privacy, and the living room has a queen sized sleeper sofa. The unit sleeps 6 people comfortably. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare and enjoy a wonderful meal including fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, electric cooktop, over the range microwave, toaster, kettle, and coffee maker. There is a stackable size washer/dryer in the unit for your convenience. Every television in the condo is a smart TV, all mattresses are new and the condo has everything you need for your stay. We love to travel as a family and fell in love with the white sand beaches of Destin when we first visited. Some of our favorite vacations were spent in a resort near Austin, TX enjoying the lazy river. We loved the lazy river so much that finding a resort with a lazy river in Destin was very exciting for us. The lush landscape, the lazy river combined with the white sand beaches made Destin Beach and Bay resort an ideal vacation spot for us. No seasons with rates found. The water is clearer, the sand is finer, the water is warmer, and the waves are larger. There are also more things to do at Destin than at Miramar Beach, so you're not stuck inside the hotels the whole time.
