Its an effort to make the world a place where all people are valued and honored for their God-given worth, Tebow has said. As I reflect upon Night to Shine 2022, I am once again reminded of the goodness of God, Tebow said in a new statement about this years event shared with Fox News Digital.

We are so excited to host Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation on Friday, February 10, 2023! Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs, ages 14 and older. We are blessed to be a part of this growing worldwide movement through the local church where thousands of people with special needs will be celebrated, given the royal treatment and reminded of God’s love for them!

Every guest of Night to Shine enters this complimentary event on a red carpet complete with a warm welcome from a friendly crowd and paparazzi. Once inside, guests receive the royal treatment, including hair and makeup stations, shoe shining areas, limousine rides, corsages and boutonnieres, a catered dinner, karaoke, prom favors for each honored guest, a Respite Room for parents and caretakers, and, of course, a dance floor… all leading up to the moment when each guest is crowned king or queen of the prom.

Night to Shine, is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs ages 14 and older, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, hosted by local churches within the community.

“Night to Shine is a night where people get to understand their worth…that God loves them and that God has an amazing plan for their life,” Tebow said. “It’s incredible to see people from all corners of the world coming together through Night to Shine to celebrate the love that God has for all of us!”

The Night to Shine Owensboro Team recently received communication from the Tim Tebow Foundation indicating Night to Shine 2022 will again be a virtual experience due to continued safety concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic. While it’s disappointing we will not be able to host an in-person experience, we value the health and safety of each participant and want to keep everyone safe. We have reviewed survey responses and given much thought and prayerful consideration. After discussing with local parties involved with Night to Shine, the team at Life Community Church has decided to opt out of the 2022 virtual event due to projected low participation. Our goal is for Night to Shine Owensboro to make the most meaningful impact possible. We value our relationship with the Tim Tebow Foundation and are looking forward to the opportunity to host an in-person event again in 2023. We thank you for your interest and support of Night to Shine.

New Life Christian Outreach is excited to once again host Night to Shine!

Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom experience for people with special needs, aged 14 and older. This event, started by the Tim Tebow Foundation, is centered on God’s love and celebrates people with special needs.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Night to Shine 2021will be a fully virtual experience. The safety of every honored guest is our top priority and this decision to go virtual was made after extensive prayer, discussions, counsel-seeking and conversations with families and medical professionals. While we are disappointed that we will not be able to celebrate in person, we are still excited and committed to creating an unforgettable virtual experience for every honored guest of Night to Shine!

The History. The Tim Tebow Foundation has a great passion for people with special needs and in 2014, we launched “Night to Shine.” The vision was simple… work with churches around the country to provide an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God's love for people with special needs, ages 14 and older.
