It's hard to share an honest review of this book without facing some form of backlash because her followers practically worship Mrs. Lindsey. But I've never been one to fear the opinion of humans, so
here it goes. Her “All in One” book is code for “All over the place”. This book had no central thought whatsoever. It was almost as if she tried to fit every lesson that she’s learned since becoming a Christian into one book Her “All in One” book is code for “All over the place”. This book had no central thought whatsoever. It was almost as if she tried to fit every lesson that she’s learned since becoming a Christian into one book just to fill up the pages. And while some of the information was useful and practical, the delivery was not befitting of a woman her age. It was very immature in tone—it sort of reminded me of the ramblings of Lindsey
Isham in her “No Sex in the City” book. There was a major disconnect between the title and the actual content of the book. The chapters worked independently of each other to tell their own story that had nothing to do with the title or the other chapters. Each chapter was its own blog post, and they were all over the place. At the beginning we were talking about Christ, by the end we were discussing hair and flea market finds. The author makes blanket statements (statements meant
to speak for and cover everyone) and creates bizarre scenarios—inspired by her past—meant to warn the reader of what’s going to happen to them…because it happened to her. That’s so off base. Her viewpoints and scenarios were more than bizarre, some of them were comical to the point of out loud laughter. My favorite part of this book was the single mother’s piece that her friend shared. That was an unexpected, sweet touch to the book. I would not read this book again, but I believe that younger women who can find themselves in the author’s story can benefit from it.
I highly reccomend this book for single christian ladies or recently married. There are things in common with Heather's blog/devotions but the book is worth purchasing. Heather writes like a friend is having a conversation with you and it makes it easy for the pages to keep turning. As a single lady waiting on her "Adam," I loved how honest she was about the trials and struggles of marriage. Marriage isn't a fairytale! The preperation that God is doing NOW in your life can only benefit you later I highly reccomend this book for single christian ladies or recently married. Here's who this book is not for: someone who kinda has their love/single life down pack, just looking for little tidbits to help along their walk with
Christ/improving their life, and/or already follow Heather Lindsey pretty heavily. Yes, she does jumps topics but, that's what I like about. To me I was reading it the same way as when I conversing with a friend. We're all over the place but in between those jumps are getting some good food to chew on. sounded like a repeated version of her blog, youtube, instagram, etc. And yes, there are some grammatical errors BUT it was her first book you guys. At the time I don't think she had the money to get on with a well known publishing company and editor. I'm not a writer but, I remember writing a few papers, thesis in college and I'll be honest after page 17 things started to run together. lol Did I agree with every single thing she said in the book? No but, overall I think it's a good read
and I don't think you can't walk away from it without taking a gem or two.

This is hands down now my favorite book!! This book gave real life advice for young women trying to live a holy life for Christ. I suggest mothers buy this book for daughter and friends who have read this share the book with their friends. weird version or something but the errors in grammar, syntax, logical flow, and so much more were actually crazy. I'm not sure if anyone proofread this book, and I seriously mean that. The author doesn't even know that you "don't quote like this", but "like this."

Decent I am a big fan of Heather, but have found that her books are poorly written. I know she is very proud of
the fact that she is self published but as an avid reader I was distracted by poor punctuation and run on sentences.
This book is a good read, and I’d recommend it for singles. I’m married so a lot of the information in this book was common knowledge for me, but it did shed some light on some things and made me question some things that I have been doing. Been reading this book with a book club, and I finished it. There were times I didn’t want to read any more because like I said before common knowledge and sometimes it was a little extreme in some examples given.

While i was intimidated abut some of the realness of the spiritual in relationship, it made me realize in order to find my Boaz i must follow the ways according to the bible.
Pink Lips & Empty Hearts by Heather Lindsey has truly been a blessing to me & she is nothing short of brutally honest in this book. It will certainly force you to look inside of yourself and desire to make corrections. Great for single, engaged/courting, and married women.

She is an author just by virtue of having written a book, but I do not think writing is her calling...ministry is. Sometimes ministering will have to come through writing. I acknowledge that some of the book seemed a bit amateurish, but it was good for a first effort. I expect that as I continue to read the rest of her books, the writing style will mature. ...more

afraid to tell the truth. No sugarcoating. Also, it's always nice to see a true testimony of how God acts in the life of someone that truly pursues Him. It makes us rethink the way we interact with Him and the place He actually has in our lives. I shows us what to change in our way of being to truly see Him in action in our lives. I think it needed to go a bit deeper, but maybe it's a great book for those new to the faith. Heather's voice and personality are crystal clear in this book, along with her convictions about how a single/married woman should walk with Christ regarding relationships. I personally resonated with chapters 8 and 14, and I appreciated her transparency. I loved the book! It's a very helpful "tool" for women no matter the status, if single, married, divorced, etc. I'm married and didn't skip any chapter. There's really good info in every single chapter. Many times are things that we already know but need "someone else" to tell us.
