ABOUT THE NATIONAL TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS NORTH CAROLINA

The USA Baseball National Team Championships are elite championship events which serve as the primary identification vehicle for players to be considered for the 15U National Team, as well as the 13U/14U Athlete Development Program (ADP) and the 16U and 17U National Team Development Programs (NTDP). Through these events, USA Baseball provides an opportunity for more than 300 teams the chance to showcase their talents against teams from all across the nation and players an opportunity to be selected to represent their country.

The USA Baseball National Team Championships North Carolina will be held at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina.

USA Baseball will no longer charge processing fees for consumers who make payments using a credit card for its National Team Championships registration. Additionally, USA Baseball's Travel Services department will continue to provide its hotel placement services free of charge for event participants; however, a hotel rebate will no longer be available to teams. 13U National Team Championships

This event is invitation-only and will have a maximum of 12 teams per age group. If your organization is interested in receiving an invitation to the 13U National Team Championship in North Carolina, please email USA Baseball.

Eligibility: 
Players born May 1, 2009 or later are eligible to compete in the 13U National Team Championships. PLEASE NOTE: All players, whether born in 2009 or 2010, will be eligible to be selected to the 2023 13U/14U National Team Development Program.

14U National Team Championships

This event is invitation-only and will have a maximum of 12 teams per age group. If your organization is interested in receiving an invitation to the 14U National Team Championship in North Carolina, please email USA Baseball.

Players born May 1, 2008 or later are eligible to compete in the 14U National Team Championships. PLEASE NOTE: Only players born January 1, 2009 or later will be eligible to be selected to the 14U Athlete Development Program and players born January 1, 2008 or later will be eligible to be selected to the 15U National Team Training Camp.

15U National Team Championships

16U National Team Championships

Players with an anticipated graduation year of 2025 or younger are eligible to compete in the 16U National Team Championships in North Carolina. PLEASE NOTE: All players, whether born in 2006 or 2007, will be eligible to be selected to the 16U/17U National Team Development Program.

17U National Team Championships

This event is invitation-only and will have a maximum of 12 teams per age group. If your organization is interested in receiving an invitation to the 17U National Team Championship in North Carolina, please email USA Baseball.

General Information

Location:
The National Team Championships North Carolina will be held at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina.

Roster Limits:
Rosters should include a minimum of 15 players and no more than 25 players. Rosters can be edited until the mandatory coaches’ meeting the night before the event.

Schedule:
Teams are guaranteed to play six games at the 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U and 17U National Team Championships (weather permitting) and will not play more than seven scheduled games.

Cost:
A $750 deposit is due upon registration and the remaining team registration fee is due by May 1. Deposits and fees not submitted by the aforementioned due dates will have their tournament invites rescinded. Accepted team's deposits and full payments are not refundable after May 1.

Hotel Information:
USA Baseball Travel Services is the official housing bureau for all USA Baseball tournaments. Non-local teams (located 100+ miles from the complex) are required to use USA Baseball’s hotel partners. Travel Services works directly with local hotel properties to secure the lowest group rates for our participants and their families. In addition, Travel Services offers other discount travel codes.
