Driver Orientation

JB Hunt has two orientation programs:

Direct to Work

Direct to Work program that allows new drivers to complete their orientation online and from the comfort of home. Screenings can be scheduled based on your personal availability, and you will receive payment once you complete the orientation process.

Traditional Orientation

The company also offers a traditional orientation program at various terminals across the country. The traditional program lasts two to three days and is offered Mondays or Wednesdays.

Orientation Pay

For orientation, drivers are paid either upon completion or in their first week’s pay. The amount paid depends on the type of orientation. JB Hunt offers a one-time advance (at no charge) on orientation pay for your convenience.

Owner-operators and lease purchase drivers are paid on their first week’s settlement.
