I will give you rest bible verse

The Story of the Prodigal Son

In the story of the prodigal son, you will get to know that, he labored and was heavily burdened and he needed rest, so he decided to return to his father (Luke 15:11-32). So it does not matter how far we stray away from our heavenly Father, a time does come when we realize without Him we have no rest. We would just end up wondering around in life without any destination, work so hard without even finding time to spend with God.

A time will come when we discover that our body may no longer take the amount of stress we out it through, hence we turn to the Father for rest and He His always waiting to great us back with am open arm.

Beloved, why are you carrying all the heavy burdens of your life all by yourself, why are you laboring without rest, why have you placed so much burden on your soul? Hear me, God is calling you today, He is asking you to come unto Him, He is calling you to bring all your burdens, issues, problems, pain, anger, broken-heart, your suffering, your agitation, the burdens in your heart, your past mistakes, all your sins to Him and He will give you rest, He will take away all your troubles or mountains and grant your soul rest.

God’s Plan for You

Child of God, our Father in Heaven seeks to bring you peace and rest, He seeks that your heart will not be burdened so why are you still carrying all your burdens. Come to the Lord today and cast all your burdens unto Him and He will carry them for you and grant you peace. Hear me, whatsoever is heavy on you, the Lord is ready to take that burden away from you. Learn His way, listen to His words, read the Bible and pray everyday, find time daily to go before the Lord in prayer, for the Lord is gentle and humble, loving and very peaceful. Amen!

What is the Bible verse Matthew 11 28?

[28] Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

What does Scripture say about rest?

Hebrews 4:9-11 9 There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10 for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. 11 Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.

What does it mean for God to give us rest?

When we enter God's rest, we rest from our work, just like God rested from His. We rest from the exhausting, futile, unpleasant work of trying to earn our way to heaven. We rest from the desire to prove our righteousness to God over and over again.

What does Psalms 37 say?

Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
