How to Get Villagers to Move in?

There are a few ways to find villagers to move into your empty plots:

• Wait for Nook to fill the spaces - If you don’t mind who moves in, then you can wait for Nook to automatically fill the homes for you. Each day, an empty plot will be filled and only one home can be sold each day.

• Find Villagers on Mystery Islands - You can go out on a mystery tour and find your own villagers! This method is recommended because then you get a chance to choose who comes to your island. This is the best way to find your dream villagers, too.

• Wait for Campsite Visitors - You could also wait until there is a visitor in your campsite. You will always have the opportunity to invite campsite visitors to live on your island.

Soon your empty plots will be occupied by new villagers!
