Which way faces up on a SIM card?Place the SIM card in slot 1 with the logo up and gold/bronze chip side facing down. Some Android phones use a SIM tray that can hold two SIMs back to back (see the image below). In that case, place the SIM card with the gold/bronze chip side facing up and the logo down.
