The booklet tells you to use 2 to 3.5 oz of kernals. I use a 1/4 cup ----and it fills it almost all the way up----which is about 8 cups. Hope this helps!

Yes. You can definitely use 1/2 cup of unpopped popcorn in this.
One (1) ounce (or 1/8 cup or 2 tablespoons) of unpopped popcorn equals about a quart popped
* 4 ounces in ½ cup
* 4 cups in a quart
* Air-popped popcorn has only 31 calories per cup
If you're using ½ cup kernels, you'll yield about 4 quarts of popped popcorn (or 16 cups of popcorn) which would make a sizeable snack for several people (or one very hungry person) and come in just under 500 calories (496).

With 1/2 cup of popcorn, it will fill the entire bowl. Thanks, and let us know if you have any further questions.

I'm not sure. I don't measure. I just pour but I believe it's less than 1/2 cup. It only takes a little over two mins to pop. Best popcorn popper ever!!

Yes you can. With that many kernels you get the whole thing full so yes I would say 8 cups. About the same as a microwave bag but much tastier! And it's so easy to store. I love mine.
