How do you destroy a large amount of paper?

Shredding is a common way to destroy paper documents and is usually quick, easy and cost-effective. Many retailers sell shredders for use within your office or premises, enabling you to shred and dispose of the documents yourself.

Where is the safest place to shred documents?

With shredding services available at The UPS Store locations nationwide, you can get rid of your personal and business documents using one of the leading document destruction vendors, Iron Mountain®. Shred your items to help protect yourself and your business from identity theft.

How much does UPS charge per pound to shred?

Secure Shredding at The UPS Store is a safe and convenient way to dispose of your personal and financial documents. The cost is only $1/lb with a 3 lb min.

How do you shred paper at home in bulk?

Put paper into a large bucket with water and soak it for at least 15 minutes. Some people advise even 24 hours. Then use a paint mixing drill to shred the documents to pieces. After that, drain the leftovers, let them dry (optional), and throw them away.
