Join us for our Secure Paper Shredding Event at Watson Trail Park. Paper shredding will be provided by The Shred Truck which will ensure secure destruction of your sensitive documents on site. Limit of 2 bank boxes (24"x12"x10") per vehicle. This event is for Sunset Hills residents only.

How do you destroy a large amount of paper?

Shredding is a common way to destroy paper documents and is usually quick, easy and cost-effective. Many retailers sell shredders for use within your office or premises, enabling you to shred and dispose of the documents yourself.

Is there an alternative to shredding?

Pulping. Another alternative to shredding to consider is pulping. This is a fairy labor-intensive method, but is highly effective when done correctly. Pulping uses bleach to break down the paper and destroy the ink printed on it, rendering the document unreadable.

How do you shred paper at home in bulk?

Put paper into a large bucket with water and soak it for at least 15 minutes. Some people advise even 24 hours. Then use a paint mixing drill to shred the documents to pieces. After that, drain the leftovers, let them dry (optional), and throw them away.
