My son is 2 and still wants this st least once a day. He’s a bad teether and can go days without eating solids and our doctor recommended this one as she said it has the most nutrients so that he can keep healthy while off solids for a bit. My son loves it

Wow !!!! My son felt in love as soon as he took his bottle, he is 11 months old and NEVER likes to hold his own bottle . I mixed a scoop of this into his reg formula and off he went to drinking it all within 5 mins & didn’t leave not one drop . I don’t know if it’s coincidence, he had not pooped in 2 days and within 2 hours after he took the first bottle with this, he went and it wasn’t hard at all . I defff recommend for transitioning your baby from formula 🙌🏼

Love this product I called this a milkshake and my daughter will sit and chug a whole 10 ounce

Check the ingredients before you buy. I was surprised to see that sugar was one of the first ingredients in this formula. Should have checked before I ordered.

My baby's been on this stuff off and on since she got off formula. She drinks way too much milk and is a picky eater. This helps me feel better that she's getting the right nutrients she normally misses. Good flavor, good price. Resembles thickness of formula.

This product worked great for weaning my breastfed toddler off. He hated regular milk so this worked great! I found that regular milk and one scoop of this was best

My toddler loves this especially the flavor. He will drink the bottle in one sitting. I do think it smells good. This really helps when we are out and about and don't have a cooler to keep things cold

My fifteen month old loves this vanilla flavor Enfagrow. It doesn’t taste like minerals like infant formula did. Sometimes I’ll mix with a strawberry flavor of a different brand.

Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 11, 2021

It smells like a vanilla shake or cake batter to me. Even though my son drinks regular milk i give him this before bed so he can be full and sleep through the night.

My son is a very picky eater and was only 2 percentile in weight at his 1 year check up. After breastfeeding for 1 year, he refused all milk and formula options. He was looking thin and unwell. Enfagrow vanilla was the one and only remaining formula that I had not tried. I bought into the controversy about the sugar and flavoring.

In Dec., I bought one can to try. Incredibly, my son LOVES it. He has been drinking about 15-20 oz of Enfagrow Vanilla for a couple months now and is just THRIVING on it. The formula enabled us to stop trying to force him to eat so the food wars have come to an end. He now happily eats his finger foods, allows us to feed him his solids and loves his formula morning and night.

Enfamil, thank you so much for such a great product. Parents of the many picky eaters out there, give this product a try. It was such a life changer for us. We are the most appreciative parents.

I am switching to toddler formula because my LO does not like cow's milk. Anybody has any idea how much to give LO per day and how often? He is taking Novaferrum multivitamins too so I don't want to overdo it.

    Maybe 16 ounces?

But did you talk to the pediatrician? Plenty of toddlers don’t drink milk but don’t drink toddler formula. My daughter didn’t like milk so we compensated with cheese and yogurt

I didn't ask our pediatrician to be honest. My LO has limited diet and I just don't want him to miss out on so many nutrients because he is a poor eater and at the same time, poor milk drinker. Will ask him. Thank you for the advice!

Just be aware that you can get into a cycle of him drinking too much formula and then not eating more and then it continues because you worry about him being hungry. Most toddlers will eat more when formula is done. Though toddlers also have stages where they eat less. My 2.5 year old will have days where she doesn’t eat as much and then weeks where she is a bottomless pit lol. She always eats the same things over and over too

Is this powder formula? Where I live in New Zealand the standard recommendation for toddlers who are on formula is 300ml/10oz per day, and it is really only for those that need the extra calories.

I totally agree with pp that you and your LO can get in the cycle of giving milk over food which you don’t want at this age, so maybe stick to 2 or 3 small bottles a day max.?

We don’t drink a lot of milk either. I give her other dairy products like cheese and yogurt. I’m lucky if she drinks 4-6 oz of milk a day. I usually give her yogurt, cottage cheese, or cheese with every meal.

In the can it says not to give the baby more than 12oz a day. It could make your baby constipated.

  • I will share my personal experience here, my lo has also been a poor eater. Even I was very apprehensive on switching to cow’s milk/reducing his daily milk intake from about 700-750 ml to 300-400 ml per day and subsequent weight loss (since he already didn’t gain much from 6 months onwards). But after his 1 year vaccination and a go ahead by the paed, I started with cows milk (giving him formula too coz total cow milk causes Constipation as of now...but eventually will work out to full cow’s milk/yogurt/cheese). And after reducing the milk intake to max 400 ml a day I notice that he is eating better.
You might wanna give it a try I would suggest. See if it works out. If not u can get back to formula. But please limit the total intake to not more than 400 ml a day. It is said that too much milk (calcium) will lead to iron deficiency, the iron which they get from food.

I get wic for my lo and they told me she only needs 16oz of milk a day even if I give her vitamins

  • I told my ped she will drink 3 to 4 8oz cups of it and she said that was fine. However I was able to get her down to 3 8oz cups. Sometimes she doesn't drink it all either.

How many times a day can I give Enfagrow?

2 servings per day! (Two cups (16 fl oz) milk, dairy or milk alternative recommended daily for 1-3 years old. Please speak to your child's doctor for specific nutrient requirements).

How do you use Enfagrow toddler?

Directions for Preparation and Use Add 3 unpacked level scoops (1/3 cup, 36 g) of powder to 6 fluid ounces of water. Shake well, serve immediately. Store DRY scoop in can. Storage/Handling: Store powder at room temperature; avoid extreme temperatures.

When can I give my toddler Enfagrow?

Enfagrow Toddler Transitions is tailored for ages 9-18 months. As older infants move away from the complete nutrition of infant formula or breast milk, this product provides complete nutrition as they transition into toddlerhood.

Should I give my toddler Enfagrow?

When you serve Enfagrow instead of cow's milk or fruit juice, your toddler will gain DHA and iron, building blocks of a toddler's developing brain. With minerals and vitamins for healthy growth, Enfagrow is surely a good value.
