Warcraft® III: Reforged is a free-to-play total reimagining of the classic real-time strategy game, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos. Relive its long and immersive campaigns or jump back into the
exciting single-player or multiplayer matches. Regardless of which mode you play, you can experience a bit of the story that continues where Warcraft II left off. You can revisit the magical world of Azeroth, now in stunning high-resolution. More importantly, you can watch the stunning cutscenes—considered visual spectacles at the time—also recreated in higher quality. The
strategy game includes content from its expansion pack, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. Warcraft® III: Reforged faithfully recreates the story and the content of the original Reign of Chaos, but in much better audio and video qualities. Like the original, it focuses on the land of
Azeroth. This magical world is threatened by The Burning Legion, a vast army of demons and corrupted races—an immersive story told through the lens of the four playable races in the game. Apart from the familiar gameplay experience, you can also explore new strategies from the Human Alliance, the Orcish Horde, the Undead Scourge, or the Night Elves—thanks to minor fixes that address bugs and glitches that negatively
affected the original gameplay experience. Whether on Campaign or Skirmish, you can choose your Hero and lead your faction to victory. These heroes can be leveled up, unlocking better stats and new skills. Unfortunately, it comes with new problems of its own. For starters, it is plagued with bugs that cause the game to crash. Additionally, there are instances where the remastered visuals do not work properly, essentially getting worse as you zoom in or out of your game. Also, unlike its original counterpart, the Reforged version doesn’t have online leaderboards or periodic tournaments like those on the Battle.net platform years ago. Great for single playerIf you’re more interested in experiencing the story rather than getting competitive in online multiplayer, then Warcraft® III: Reforged is the perfect excuse. It offers the entire Reign of Chaos and Frozen Throne catalog, only in better audio and video quality. However, it comes with problems too, including restricted multiplayer, keeping it advisable for single player only. With the platforms available, it’s still a good game to try. PROS

Does Warcraft 3 work on Mac?You can play the current version of Warcraft III (you don't need to buy reforged) on a Mac, but probably not an M1 Mac. There are community mods to address many of the shortcomings that Blizzard failed to address. Really, unless you need a mac for some professional purpose, just don't buy a mac to play games.

Warcraft III System Requirements (Reforged and Classic). Can I play Warcraft on my Mac?To play World of Warcraft on Mac, you need to pay for a subscription to the game and then download its macOS version. One other way you could play World of Warcraft on your Mac is to use the Boosteroid cloud-gaming platform.
Can you still download original Warcraft 3?Nope. Multiplayer issues aside, the fact that it FORCES you to download the THIRTY GIGABYTE GAME onto your hard drive, EVEN IF YOU DON'T BUY IT, and then your warcraft 3 is just fundamentally broken because every glitch that reforged has carries over to your "non-reforged version" BLEW my mind.
