children love Dora. I don't love that Dora taught them to yell. EVERYTHING. -_- 2 people found this helpful K. kingReviewed in the United States on August 17, 2016 1.0 out of 5 stars BUMPER MUSIC IS TOO LOUDVerified purchase DOES ALL CAPS LOOK LIKE I'M SHOUTING? KIND OF LIKE DORA THE EXPLORER? I THOUGHT THE LOUDEST THING ON NICK JR WAS DORA. SHE IS DWARFED BY THE BUMPER MUSIC OF NICK JR ON AMAZON. It's truly amazing. I cannot believe i'm the only one complaining about this. It's outrageous. This is programming for toddlers. Sometimes they are toddlers that have thankfully, finally fallen to sleep and who will be yanked from blissful sleep straight into a seizure from the sheer volume of Nick Jrs bumper music. This is not a Nickelodeon problem. Oh no. Not the tween kids. These decibels and the horrible notes they belong to are reserved for the tiny children. Speaking of, WHO WROTE THAT? Fire them. The older kids get pleasant bells, the young kids get a noise like the Hindenburg falling on an out of tune organ. Who can I beg to change this? Who can I sue? I'll do it. Sigh. Getting Nickelodeon or Viacom to care about ANYTHING is a joke but I can only dream that one day they will be thoughtful enough to do one kindness to moms all over the world: Turn the bumper music down. They can't do anything else right, so I don't even know why I bother. Remember Nick Mom, folks? I told you about that one too. You didn't listen. Anyway, i'm not toppling the Nickelodeon cartel with my lousy review, so the one star stays. 6 people found this helpful RachelleJReviewed in the United States on May 23, 2015 5.0 out of 5 stars ... lately she has been particularly asking to watch this Super Babies episodeVerified purchase My daughter loves Dora and lately she has been particularly asking to watch this Super Babies episode. I tried waitiig on it to come on television again so i could record it on my dvr but after a few day of her asking about and crying to see this episode I decided to take action. I love that Amazon allows you to purchase this cartoon by the episode. $1.99 was a small price to pay to keep my 2 year old happy. 4 people found this helpful KatieReviewed in the United States on May 5, 2016 4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome choice for little ones!Verified purchase It's great for my little one because she adores Dora and she isn't picky about which season she's watching. Best part is...it was Free when we bought our Kindle Fire and so it's a lifesaver on longer car or plane rides. 2 people found this helpful Cheryl YoungReviewed in the United States on May 2, 2014 5.0 out of 5 stars Dora's songVerified purchase I got the video because I wanted to show it to my Spanish class for the song that Boots sings using prepositions in Spanish. It is a good song for the first weeks of Spanish using four Spanish words for: up down open close with the phrases: "I speak Spanish and English too, I like them both. How about you?" This is good because some students are resistant to speaking Spanish. 2 people found this helpful Amazon CustomerReviewed in the United States on August 27, 2016 5.0 out of 5 stars I really like this productVerified purchase I really like this product, it was easy to install, my car was a lot cooler when I got in it today, the sun is no longer in my grandchild's eyes. Which makes for a happier ride. I will be purchasing another set for my other vehicle. 9 people found this helpful N. R.Reviewed in the United States on June 23, 2013 5.0 out of 5 stars Dora with simple basic kids learningVerified purchase I think it is a wonderfully done cartoon. The imagery and artwork is beautifully done. The pace is exciting without being too overstimulating and frazzling like many of the other kids shows on today. The color, the selection scheme is aesthetic, not gaudy and tacky as are some of others. Dora is charming the cartoon overall respectful and informative add on Spanish everyday words for those interested to teach their kids. 3 people found this helpful See all reviews |
