I ended up deciding to get a Brinker gift card because it is something I know someone will like, that they can use, and that will make them happy. I mean who does NOT love food? Brinker gift cards can be used at several restaurants as well. It came quickly, and the recipient had no problem using it. Check out with the card was simple, and they were able to get exactly what they wanted. I am happy that Amazon provides the ability to get these types of cards so that I know no matter what, I am able to get something for every and please them at the same time. I know that some people think that a gift card is impersonal, or not something that you put a lot of thought into, however I think that if you pick something they will love, like eating a meal for free or close to free, it is great. Plus I was able to include a little note telling them exactly why I got it for them which made it a little more personal than just handing them cash. I will be buying gift cards again through Amazon since the process was so easy and streamlined, and since I experienced no problems with my purchase, or my recipient using the card. I would suggest buying gift cards through Amazon to my friends, and my family without a hesitation. After working in restaurants when I was younger, I can tell you that this can happen sometimes no matter who you purchase from. I went for it and purchased a $25 giftcard (with the classic Chili’s logo) and checked the balance on the Chili’s website when it arrived. Sure enough, it was loaded. What’s nice is, the card has all the info on it that you need to verify- no special hidden codes on it or anything that could make the card look tampered with when checking.
