The Ventura County Elections Division reported that ballots from Vote Centers that closed at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, began arriving at the division for counting just after 10 p.m.
Early returns show low voter turnout and as of 10:43 p.m. 19.57% of ballots (99,119) have been returned from among 506,453 registered voters.

The League of Women Voters of Ventura County is pleased to announce a series of online forums for local races in Ventura County in the 2022 Primary Election.
All candidates are invited to participate in the forum for their contest. Learn more about the jobs they are running for at our 'Lunch with the League' speakers series on YouTube.
The public was invited to watch live, or to view recordings of past events. Before each event you can register to participate as an attendee and submit questions for the moderator to consider. Suggested questions must be submitted on the registration form at least 24 hours before the forum and will be reviewed and consolidated by the moderator to cover as many topics as possible in the alloted time.

We were not able to have a forum on Measures A & B because the 'No' campaign did not respond to requests for participation. Instead, the League decided to study these measures and provide our impartial analysis to the voters. Please click HERE to see the results of our analysis.
