Graduate Information

To determine your total Cost of Attendance (budget), add the cost of tuition and fees (as either a full-time or a part-time student) to the Standard Living Expenses.  If you enroll in the BU Student Health Insurance Plan, you may also add this cost to the total.  Student Health Insurance costs for 2022-2023 are $3,235 for the BASIC plan and $4,323 for the PLUS plan.  Additional information regarding insurance can be found at Student Accounting Services.

Student Health Insurance Costs

Massachusetts law requires all students enrolled in at least 75% of the full-time curriculum to have medical insurance. Students who cannot demonstrate coverage under a qualifying medical insurance plan are required to purchase the University’s student health insurance plan, which is due and payable with your first-semester charges.
