Since it came out in February, Peacock’s dramatic retelling of Will Smith’s story from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air has been very interesting to watch, especially since the real Will Smith has been all over the news lately.

In the tenth episode of the first season of Bel-Air, which aired on March 31, Will met a new person in California who he didn’t expect to see. But because the episode ended on a cliffhanger, fans are wondering if Bel-Air will come back for episode 11 and beyond.

Bel-air Episode 10 Recap

The 10th episode of Bel-Air came to Peacock on March 31, 2022. In the episode “Where to?,” Jazz and Hilary’s secret relationship came out, and Hilary later teamed up with a top influencer to help her career. Vivian also worked with Reid to help other people of colour get opportunities through the art fellowship.

And finally, when Will’s father Lou (played by Marlon Wayans) shows up out of the blue, it turns everything in Bel-Air on its head. Will is happy to see his father, who had been in prison for three years. However, when Lou starts criticising Will’s mother, Vy, the two almost get into a fight. Will is also upset that his aunt and uncle told him lies about where his father was.

Will There Be An Episode 11 Of Bel-air In Season 1?

The first season of Bel-Air will not have episode 11. That’s because there are only 10 episodes in season 1 of the Peacock show. After its debut in February with the first three episodes, Bel-Air has continued to air every Thursday. But that was before the tenth and the last episode of the first season aired on March 31. The dramatic ending of that episode made fans want more.

The Story Doesn’t End There

Even though season 1 of Bel-Air is over, it has already been decided that the show will return for a second season. Back in October 2020, when Bel-Air was first announced, it was said that the show had been given a two-season order.

Fans won’t have to worry about what will happen to the show as they do with other shows that only get picked up for one season at a time. Whether or not plans change because of what the real Will Smith did at the Oscars is still unknown.
