The room presented over all fine, but the couch that is in this room was stained and dirty looking with soiled human grunge, with dog hairs, but you had to look really close to see this stuff, not the stains, just the dog hairs. The bottom of my house shoes that I walked around the room in had all kinds of hairs and other thing that I could not really tell what it is. This just showed that the house keeping staff did a half *** job cleaning the room. I stayed twice there in the last 4 days, and both rooms had couches that needed steamed cleaned or replaced. The property was fine and not trashy, but across the street there is a motel (Express Inn), that had a lot of riffraff kind of people that looked like drug head and so forth. No one bothered me, but still was a bit scarry and so on. The staff looked to be Indian, as now day everywhere you go all the motels and hotels are, and thing really are run or owned by the Indians (no pun intended). The main thing is there are a lot of shady looking people in and around the property. Unfriendly and unaccommodating night manager. The room smelled horrible and the pull out sofa mattress had yellow stains with no sheets/bedding. You could not pay us to stay here! Room was large and clean, and Housekeeping was adequate. It is very difficult to get to from I-20/820 -- you need four right-hand turns to get to the I-35W access road after initially driving by the place; less difficult from I-35 north of I-20/820 by taking the Altamesa exit. I was disappointed to find no pebble grain on the floor of the shower/tub -- at least grab bars were provided and I bought a non-slip tub mat from Sears to feel safer. The next night there was a lot of on the wild side activity. No one bothered us personally, but there was a lot of night activity there that had not been happening in the early part of the week. We asked for our room not to be cleaned only our trash removed and clean towels given and dirty ones removed. Everynight my husband took dirty towels out and got new ones |
