Find a Member Museum

Use our member directory to find a museum in your city or start planning your vacation. You can search by a single field or multiple fields.

The American Alliance of Museums doesn’t have a reciprocal program or a formal agreement with any museum regarding admission. Some members provide free or discounted admission to other AAM members as a professional courtesy, others do not and are under no obligation to do so. It is best to check with the museum that you are interested in visiting.

How much time do you need at the American museum of Natural History?

We recommend a minimum of two and a half hours to experience the Museum. Give yourself an extra hour if you are seeing one of our shows or special exhibitions. If you have purchased the General Admission + All package, plan on spending at least four hours plus enough time for lunch. Where do we go when we get there?

Can you just walk into the Natural History Museum?

To maintain the safety and comfort of visitors, we will only admit visitors who have not booked in advance if capacity allows. We recommend you book a free ticket to guarantee entry to the Museum. If you would prefer to book by phone, please contact us.
