A lion is running at a constant speed

We don’t have your requested question, but here is a suggested video that might help.

Okay, we have a deer that's running, it sees a lion. Once it sees the lion, it starts to run faster. It runs faster by 5m/s. So after its run For it tells us it ran 400 m in 10 seconds. So there's its speed when it's running. So take that and we're going to put that into a um fraction. So 400 m in 10 seconds is 40 m per second. So we're gonna let that equal the rate before it saw the lion, and then it's running five m per second faster. So all you have to do is subtract the five from the 40 to know that before it saw the lion Was running along at a meager 35 m/s.

17. A lion is running at constant speed toward a gazelle that is standing still, as shown in the top figure above. After several seconds, the gazelle notices the lion and accelerates directly toward him, hoping to pass the lionand force him to reverse direction. As the gazelle accelerates toward and past the lion, the lion changesdirection and accelerates in pursuit of the gazelle. The lion and the gazelle eventually each reach constant butdifferent speeds. Which of the following sets of graphs shows a reasonable representation of the velocities ofthe lion and the gazelle as functions of time?

18. A spacecraft of mass 4000 kg is traveling in a straight line inthe positive direction. Engines can be fired so that the forceexerted on the spacecraft is in the positive or negativedirection. The graph above shows data for the force duringone interval. Which of the following is the best estimate ofthe net change in the speed of the spacecraft from timet=to timet=4 s ?0

How do the maximum kinetic energy and period of oscillation with bothblocks compare to those of block 1 alone?MaximumKinetic EnergyPeriod
