Acura will take the wraps off the 2023 Integra on Thursday in an event live-streamed for fans. Acura officially describes the car that will make its appearance this week as a prototype. But the brand has a history of revealing prototypes that change little, if at all, before production. What We Know TodayIn August, Acura announced that the Integra name would return. Since then, they’ve also promised that it would retain the 5-door liftback shape of the classic Integra and would be available with a 6-speed manual transmission. Honda recently revealed a performance-oriented version of the 2022 Civic, the Civic Si, and teased another, the Civic Type-R. Historically, Integras share many parts with the Civic lineup, so all of the pieces seem to be in place for an Integra once again built on the Civic platform. We’ll learn the rest in a few days.
