Do you mean the front of the motor, where the serpentine belt is? The front of the engine faces the right front tire. If I take the front motor mount off, the engine will fall,

The starter is behind the RADIATOR low center(FRONT OF CAR). Good hunting! The 2012 Dodge Avenger, which comes with a 2.4L engine, holds its camshaft in a mounted position on top of the cylinder head, which lies towards the front side of the car. It can be found exactly beneath the timing belt cover, which doesnt need to be removed to access the camshaft. If Youre having trouble finding it, consult Your owners manual.
