Fix for Galaxy Phone Vibrating Randomly as if a Notification

Install the Nice Catch app from the Galaxy app store (link) on your Galaxy phone (require One UI – Android 9/10). The app will start logging all vibrations. Now, follow the below steps to identify the app or the system process that makes vibration on your Galaxy device and fix it.

  1. Open the Nice Catch app and tap on Vibration history.
  2. It will display all apps that triggered vibration on your Galaxy device.
  3. Once you identify the app causing vibration, either you can disable vibration from notification settings or uninstall the app.
  4. To disable vibration on Galaxy phone, go to Settings > Notifications > App notification > Notification category > disable Vibrate.

If you want to use this feature for certain apps only, you can tap on Notification Reminders directly to enter into its settings, then specify which apps you would like to take advantage of this feature. You can also specify how frequently you would like reminders. I find it way too annoying to use, so it’s permanently off on my phone.
