Mar 2, 2020 Anyone know a way to disconnect the tailgate so gate ajar dash light will not come on? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Close your tailgate. If you can find where the switch is, pull the connector and short the two wires together.

The switch is built into the latch assembly. Under the plastic cover on the gate are the wires for the switch and the 3rd brake light. Find the right 2 and short them together.

I ended up finding out how to fix issue by adjusting the latch, now the lights working and going off Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
