Twilight on the terrace baltimore 2022

Baltimore will come #Together Again on June 20-26, 2022 to celebrate the contributions made to society by sexual and gender minorities. Hosted by the Pride Center of Maryland, Pride 2022 will bring 50,000 people from throughout the region to Baltimore for a week of celebration, recognition and fun. In person for the first time since 2019, it’s wonderful to be #Together Again.

Schedule of Events

Twilight on the Terrace – June 24

Returning after a two-year hiatus, Twilight on the Terrace marks the start of Pride weekend in high style. A Pride tradition, this spectacular night features amazing craft cocktails and food from Gertrude’s, performances from local artists, and dancing under the stars

Parade – June 25

On Saturday morning, The Baltimore Pride Parade will kick off the day’s activities at 1pm. The route begins at North Charles and 33rd Street, passes Wyman Park and at N. Charles & 23rd Street, and culminates at the Block Party.

Block Party – June 25

The Parade flows directly into The Block Party, so continue in the fun with us in Station North. You’re going to want to stay all day so that way you don’t miss any of the guest DJs, drag performers, and this year’s headliner: Brandi!

Pride in the Park – June 26

On Sunday, the festival continues at Baltimore’s history Druid Hill Park with performances on the main stage, exhibitors, and more fun throughout the park. This year will be bigger than ever, so gather the squad, bring a picnic blanket, and get there early so you don’t miss a thing.

Queen’s Cruise in Partnership with City Cruises – June 26

Come Sail and Slay! Celebrate Baltimore Pride on the water aboard Queens Cruise, a fundraising event for The Pride Center of Maryland aboard the Spirit of Baltimore. This event will feature live entertainment by some of Maryland’s favorite drag artists. Event includes food, drinks and amazing music.

This summer’s LGBTQ+ pride celebrations in Baltimore will include a parade, block party and other in-person events not held since 2019 as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, organizers announced Wednesday.

Fittingly, this year’s theme will be “Together Again,” said Merrick Moses, board chairperson for the Pride Center of Maryland.

“By making ‘Together Again’ the 2022 theme for Baltimore Pride, we acknowledge the rocky times we’ve experienced as a nation over the last 2.5 years but more importantly we acknowledge all that we’ve accomplished and look towards what still needs to be done,” Moses wrote in a news release.

The festivities will begin Friday, June, 24, with a youth pride event and black-tie gala. The party, called Twilight on the Terrace, will be held at Gertrude’s in the Baltimore Museum of Art, according to the Baltimore Pride website. That Saturday, the pride parade and block party will be held along Charles Street. Sunday, June 26, will bring the Pride in the Park event in Druid Hill Park.

“Baltimore Pride events offer an opportunity to gather in community and highlight the diversity, resilience, and power of the same-gender-loving (SGL)/LGBTQIA+ community, giving us the energy and spirit we need to continue the fight,” Moses wrote.

Baltimore Pride is also the Pride Center of Maryland’s largest fundraiser each year, according to the release. Proceeds from the events help the center support some 1,200 sexual and gender minority individuals each month.

A Baltimore Pride advertising campaign will appear on digital billboards around the city starting April 1, according to the news release.

Baltimore Pride, which began as a small rally of about a dozen activists in 1975, typically attracts about 50,000 revelers these days, according to the pride center.

Twilight on the Terrace

Pride weekend kicks off in style once again this year!

Twilight on the Terrace is a signature event where attendees enjoy signature cocktails while taking a stroll through the Baltimore Museum of Art's beautiful sculpture garden, dance to music, place bids on silent auction packages, and receive exclusive Pride gift bags stuffed with select items from our sponsors.

Last year, over 200 individuals joined the GLCCB on Gertrude Restaurant's beautiful terrace at the historic Baltimore Museum of Art for a night of hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, music, dancing and, of course, art. As well as a surprise visit from Senator Catherine Pugh.

50% of the ticket price is tax deductible.
