WhatsApp does not save the conversations on their servers but they made it possible for every Android device to save a copy of the chat histories locally.
If you are well familiar with how to navigate your device then follow these steps on how to recover your deleted WhatsApp conversations.
- Remove the SD card from the Android device and plug it into an SD card reader. You can also use a file manager app to access the SD card.
- Go to the given file path: sdcard/WhatsApp/Databases
- Change the name of the backup file you need to restore from msgstore-YYYY-MM-DD.1.db.crypt12 to msgstore.db.crypt12. No need to change the number of the crypt extension.
- Uninstall WhatsApp from the phone
