The Empire of Storms Exclusive (Barnes & Noble) is a short story released in the Barnes & Noble edition of Sarah J. Maas's Empire of Storms.
Official Synopsis
After a hard-fought journey, the Queen of Terrasen has finally returned to her beloved kingdom. But Aelin's territory is not as she remembered. Adarlan has burned villages into smoldering ruins and left its people brutally scarred—if they were left alive at all.
Even though Adarlan's armies are at last marching out of Terrasen, the roads are still watched enough that Aelin, Rowan, Aedion, Lysandra, and Evangeline keep hidden in the shadows of Oakwald Forest as they travel to Orynth, the capital. But when supplies run low, the newly formed court must risk venturing into one of those hard-hit surviving villages to restock their stores.
What they discover is not at all what Aelin and her friends anticipate—something far more precious than supplies . . .Read on for an exclusive look at an afternoon Aelin and her court will not soon forget, and one that may forever shape her vision of Terrasen's future.

Hello all - just curious if anyone knows about Barnes and Noble's habits on repressing their limited edition colored vinyls (i.e. B&N exclusives, etc). I'm looking for one that sold out online/in stores but since it's listed as "Temporarily Out of Stock" online I thought there might be hope for a restock? The regular black variant is available everywhere but of course I want to have the colored one! Any tips/advice would be great here- thank you!!

You've failed to mention which release you're talking about...Didn’t want to seem too much like a “wanted” forum post lol - but the one I’m looking for is The Greatest Showman soundtrack in the blue variant. But regardless I’m curious how B&N handles the repressing and such.

I'd suggest contacting their customer service - it would appear they have a LiveChat facility.

If they're reprinting limited editions, then they're not exactly limited editions.

I've never seen releases come back in stock. If they are sold out online, you could try your local store if one is close.
They used to have the ability to search store stock, but I don't know if they still do that.

Barnes and Noble is majorly winding down their operations. I wouldn't expect it at all.

I'd suggest just getting the black version if its available - colour don't mean no thang.

They used to have the ability to search store stock, but I don't know if they still do that. They do, at least at the stores. I recently (maybe a couple of months ago) went searching for a book, which they didn't have, but they were very helpful and checked other stores. They even called the store that had it, and reserved the book for me.
