The Bath & Body Works return policy may no longer accept returns “at any time.”
Bath & Body Works Return Policy Is Getting a Makeover. 🛍
Rumor has it that Bath & Body Works might be changing its popular return policy, and it may not be for the better. Currently, customers can “return anything, anytime for any reason.” This policy may change to only include new and gently used items.
According to a recent Reddit thread, your product cannot be less than half full if you want a return or exchange. And only even price point for price point exchanges will be allowed so you wouldn’t be able to trade in a candle for $24.99 for another priced at $26.99.
These policy updates are expected to roll out around September of 2022, so if you have any returns or exchanges, you might want to do it now.
Just how true is this rumor?
Hip2Save Sidekick, Liza, set out to find the truth. She spoke to a representative at her local store who confirmed that changes are indeed coming. The store doesn’t have ALL the updates yet, but they were able to tell us a few small details.
The return policy is truly changing, and the company will soon only be accepting returns on new and GENTLY used items. If you want cash back, make sure to save your receipt. Returning items without a receipt will be tracked using your government-issued ID and may result in receiving store credit. Other situations may also warrant a store credit but the store representative was unable to elaborate at this time. Reddit commenters have mentioned that receipts also will not be accepted after 90 days.
We are keeping our ears peeled and if we learn of any additional news, we’ll be sure to let Hip2Save readers know the scoop!
